Clean & Clear Deep Cleansing Lotion review

Hello my fabulous readers! Today i'll be posting a review on the Clean & Clear deep cleansing lotion. Now, I have not posted a review in quite a while; this is my second review. I will be telling you about this product, and the PRO's and the CON's. Let's start ;)

This is a good product. It removes makeup, and dirt that isn't always visible. It tightens pores, and sometimes helps get rid of blackheads, and keep pimples at bay. This is an oil free product. When I apply it to my skin, it burns me for a few seconds, then just goes away. The smell is extremely strong, and it burns your eyes. Although it removes makeup very well, I would NOT use this near/on my eyes to get rid of makeup, or just to clean them, because it it get's into your eyes in burns and burns (I know from experience, OUCH!) I think this product would be best for oily skin, as it does tend to dry your skin out a bit, but if you have dry skin, and you want to give it a go, do, but use a moisturizer afterwards. Overall, I think this is a GOOD product, and I would recommend it to friends.

PROS OF PRODUCT

Cleans makeup/dirt of that isn't always visible
Tightens pores
Helps get rid of blackheads
Keeps pimples at bay
Refreshing feeling

CONS OF PRODUCT

Extremely strong smell
Stings skin for a few seconds
Dries skin in some cases
Burns eyes

Okay! That's my review of this product. If you would like to review a product, be sure to do so in the comment section, because I will do a Tried & Tested post for all my lovely readers :) Thanks for reading, will see you in my next post x

Hey girls! Today I went on a shopping spree to buy some things for Christmas which was decor, beauty products and some clothes. There is a few of shops; I like to mix it up. I love decorating my room for Christmas, it makes it feel so cozy. Let's go see what I got :)

(1) Cozy socks. I mean, who doesn't buy them in Christmas? I got 2 pairs in Penney's for €3.50. There so warm and snug, and there is a layer of wool in the inside. This is what they look like...

(2) Ripped boyfriend jeans. I have a pair of these already, but I really liked the look of these. I got these from Penney's for €16.00. They look like this...

(3) Lace blue top. I really like lace, and this just looked stunning. It was on offer at a seriously cheap price at €3.00.

(4) Plain grey leggings. I saw these and I just bought them for when i'm going for a walk or a jog. Again, they were a very cheap price at €3.00.

(5) Sketchers go run. I got these at my local shoe store for €89.00. There black, and there extremely comfortable.

(6) Lip stain. I got two different colours. I got them both from Penney's. It's very rare for me to buy makeup products from Penney's, but I though i'd give it a go. They are actually good, I like the colours.

(7) Fake snow spray, and gold spray paint. I got these both from Euro world, the spray paint was €1.50 and the fake snow was €1.00.

(8) 4 LED candles. I really like these, as you know you can leave them on knowing they can't burn the house down. There really decorative. I got the packet of four for €1.50 at Euro world.

DIY Makeup Remover (3 ways)

Hello! This is my second post that I have made today, I am very proud to say. In this post, I will be showing you how to make three different makeup removers. I find these better than the commercial makeup remover, as they don't irritate skin, there really effective, and easy to make. Each one only requires 2 ingredients. Let's start :)

MAKEUP REMOVER #1

You will need:

Half cup of witch hazel
Half cup of olive oil
Container

How to make:

Mix ingredients together, store in a container.
Be careful around eyes.

MAKEUP REMOVER #2

You will need:

2 tbs grapeseed oil
2 tbs castor oil
Container

How to make:

Mix ingredients together, store in a container.

MAKEUP REMOVER #3

You will need:

5 tbs jojoba oil
10 tbs water
Container

How to make:

Mix ingredients together, store in a container.

If you are out of makeup remover, and you don't have these ingredients, petroleum jelly or hair conditioner will do the job. Just be sure not to get them in your eyes,

Guide to clear skin!

Hey girls! Im off ill today so I decided I would use the time I had to make a post. This post will be a guide to get clear skin, and a few tips. Leave a comment of your must have facial cleanser in the comments below. I hope this helps you.

(1) I know you have probably heard this like 100 times before, but DRINK PLENTY OF WATER! People don't realize how much this helps your skin! Try to drink 8 glasses of water a day, and in the least, 6.

(2) Wash your face AT LEAST 2 times a day. Always wash makeup off after use, and use a cleanser that contains up to 2% salicylic acid.

(3) Do NOT pop your pimples. I know it's hard not to, but it only results in scarring and inflammation.

(4) Only use exfoliators once or twice a week, unless you buy a daily exfoliator, which isn't as harsh on the skin. Overusing products like this can lead to dry skin. I like to use Clean and clear exfoliating daily wash. I do not use it on a daily basis.

(5) If you have dry skin, use a creamy moisturizer.

Keep up the good work. If you want clear skin, care for it each day. You won't get clear skin over night!

So that was my guide on how to get clear skin. I hope this has helped you, see you in my next post :)

DIY Bath Bombs

Hello :) This post will be on how to make your on bath bombs. I just made these yesterday, and I tried them out today, and let me tell you, they are amazing! You can customize them yourself as you can choose the colour and scent! These are just as good as the shop bought ones, yet they are so simple and affordable, yet so effective.

YOU WILL NEED:

3/4 of a cup of citric acid
1 1/2 cups of baking soda
1 3/4 cups of corn starch
Water
Essential oil of your choice
Food colouring (For colour, optional)

HOW TO MAKE:

(1) Pour all of the dry ingredients into a mixing bowl.

(2) Mix them all together.

(3) Slowly, pour in the water. There is no correct amount, put do not put in too much, as it will take the fizz out of them, which we want for the baths. It will feel like bread crumbs or damp sand when the water is in.

(4) Add in 6 drops of an essential oil of your choice, and 2 or 3 drops of colouring of your choice.

(5) Mix well.

(6) Pack into the molds you want to use, and let them set for 1 or 2 hours.

(7) When their set, tip the molds over, and they should come straight out.

THAT'S IT!

You have your very own bath bombs. These would be a lovely gift for Christmas your your family or your friends. I hope you liked this post. See you in my next post!:)♥
