Spa day at home + DIY ♥

This post will be how to have your own spa day at home, for cheap! I will also be showing you some lovely DIY's. I just pampered myself their and i'm going to show you how to yourself! This is perfect if you just want some "Me time" and just to relax. Lets get started...

(1) FACE -

(a) Pour some boiling water into a large bowl, around half the way. Place a cloth over the top of the bowl, making sure the water doesn't touch the cloth. Put your face onto the cloth, and stay there for around 5 mins. The steam will open up your pores.

(b) Use a cleanser for your face, to get rid of any dead skin cells or impurities in your pores.

(c) Apply a moisturizer to moisturize your face. Some cleansers can dry your skin.

(d) Apply a face mask, or make your own. I have a post for it which you can check out here.

(e) Place 2 slices of cucumber over your eyes for a refreshing and cooling effect.

(f) Rinse off after 20 mins.

(2) BODY & HAIR -

(a) Run a nice warm bath, and pour in some nice smelling body lotions or bath bombs. Light candles and place around the bath.

(b) Wash your hair with shampoo, and apply conditioner. Rinse off.

(c) Dry yourself

(d) Rub on some sweet smelling moisturizer

(e) Let hair dry naturally, up in a towel.

(3) NAILS -

(a) Wash your hands.

(b) Take some warm water and pour it in a bowl. Put your fingers in and leave for 3 - 4 mins to soften nails + cuticles.

(c) Take a cuticle stick and push back your cuticles.

(d) Clean your nails with a nail brush.

(e) File your nails. Do not go back and forth. Go one way when filing.

(f) Paint your nails the desired colour you want to paint them.

(g) Let them dry and wah - lah! Perfect nails!

So, I will show you an awesome mask today, and it makes me hungry when I mention it! I will be showing how to make a strawberry and honey face mask! YUM! I will put the benefits of the ingredients at the end of the post. This only needs 3 ingredients so it's perfect if your on a budget.

Halloween food and drinks

Hey! So I made a post showing you some Halloween decor yesterday and today I will be posting on Halloween food and drinks. These are perfect if you are having a party, or even if your just having your friends over. They don't require much effort, and are all very easy. To get you guys in the Halloween mood I have put a song in this post. Just click play. Me and my friends loves this song for Halloween. Lets get right into the food and drinks now!

(1) Eyeball cocktail.
Easy to make, and it looks so ghoulish! Just take 5 or 6 green grapes, and make a little slit in the middle, pop in 1 raisin, and there your eyeballs! Put the eyeballs into a glass, followed by some gummy bears and chewy sweets, then just pour in some cranberry juice and your done. Simple!

(2) Ghost meringue.
Simple to make. You will only need 3 ingredients. Beat 4 egg whites and 220g of sugar together until you get a light, fluffy texture. Spoon onto a baking tray and place in the over at 90 degrees. Bake for 1 and a half hours or until crisp on the outside. Let them cool. Melt some dark chocolate, and drip onto the meringues to make 2 eyes and a mouth on each one. And your finished!!! :)

Puking pumpkin.
Oh it looks so terrible! This is so delicous! Take a pumpkin, and carve out a face. Next place it in a plate. Spoon some guacomole into the mouth, an all the way out, across the plate. Spread some nachos around the guacamole and your ready to go :)

Iced ghosts.
These are healthy for you because they contain pears. Dip as much pears (washed and skinned) as you need in white chocolate, until they are covered in it. Ice on the mouth and eyes as soon as the white chocolate has hardened. Then just put a lollipop stick into the pear and there you have it!

Monster teeth.
Ooooh spooky! These are also a healthy option and they will seriously only take around 5 minutes to make a bunch. Slice an apple up, and for every pair of monster teeth you make you will need two slices of apple. Just put mini marshmallows in between the two slices. finished! Tah - dah!

I hope this has helped you, and if you decide to try these out, I would love to see the results! To send me a picture by email, click here. Thanks for reading! Bye for now, x

Halloween decor

Hey gal's! Its October, and it will soon be Halloween! Are you dressing up this year? I sure am! Im going as
a vampire, and this is the closest pic of what I will look like :)

I know! Totally fab right? Enough with me, what are you dressing up as? Leave your answers in the comments below.

Okay so I will be showing you some DIY's to spook up your house for Halloween, and who knows, I might do another post on some Halloween food! Yay! Okay so all of these are really easy, they don't require much time, and they aren't expensive. Im so exicited for Halloween! Okay I've said Halloween 5 times already but this is what the post is about. Lets get started!

(1) Spooky eyes.

Okay so these are really spooky and yet so simple to make, and your recyling all at the same time! So all you have to do is get some toilet roll (with the tissue off, obviously) and cut out different shapes for the eyes, like in the pictures. Then just pop a glow stick into them, and hide them in the bushes, so people will see the light shine through the eyes, and they wont be able to see the cardboard. Very spooky, indeed! I would probably use a red or green glow stick, but it's completely up to you.

(2) Glow in the dark jar.

Again, this is so simple, and it using glow sticks like in number 1. All you have to do is get a clean jar, pour in some water, cut open a glow stick and pour the contents in. Simple!!!

(3) Glow in the dark alien heads.

This will only take up 2 minutes of your time to make around 5, so there brilliant for last minute decorations. Blow up some green balloons, put a green glow stick in, tie the balloon and then just draw faces on the balloons with black marker. And your done! :)

(4) Decorating pumpkins.
This looks tricky but it's not. Its actually simple. Take a pumpkin, some ribbon, some glue and some buttons. Set the pumpkin down. Tie the ribbon into a bow, and glue it onto the top of the pumpkin, where the stem is. Next, glue the buttons onto the pumpkin spelling out the word "BOO" And your done.

(5) Vampire pumpkin.
Again, it looks hard but is simple and will only take a minute or two. Take a small pumpkin, and carve out a hollow, large enough to fit plastic vampire teeth into. Once it's carved, pop the vampire teeth in (you can buy them in nearly any supermarkets) and glue on two small black beads for the eyes. Then your done! :)

(6) Witch in a jar.
These are the easiest things to do. Take a jar and pour in some water, followed by a few drops of green food colouring. Take the witch hats (next decor down, number 7)  and put them onto the jar and your done!

SELF-EXPLANATORY (click on the pics to make them bigger)

                                                  (7) Witch hats (Use for decor number 6)

(8) Black banner
Enjoy!!! Halloween food post coming up next! :)
